About
Independent economic research infrastructure.
Equilibrium Labs builds open, high-integrity infrastructure for economic analysis — the data, tools, and validation layer that researchers and AI systems can trust and check for themselves. It exists because the most consequential economic research is increasingly shaped by the institutions that fund it. Open, reproducible, auditable infrastructure is a public good regardless of who builds it.
The lab is based in Denmark. Its work is released open source, and it is funded independently — the donation ledger is kept anonymous, with no institutional strings attached. It takes no preferred policy positions — the commitment is to data fidelity, methodological transparency, and honest uncertainty, not to conclusions.
Alfred: expand this — founder background, and why Denmark specifically.
Alfred: add a short founder paragraph — who you are, your economics background, and what you're building toward.
