Licences
Licences
Equilibrium Labs publishes under two licences, consistently, across everything it releases.
Code
Every tool — the generators, the claimcheck validation harness, the MCP server — is released under the MIT licence. Use it, fork it, modify it, ship it commercially, with attribution and no warranty. The code lives at github.com/Lorenz0n/equilibriumlabs, which is public; the licence text ships there once the tool source itself is published.
Data and papers
Datasets, working papers, and working notes are released under CC BY 4.0. Share and adapt freely, including commercially, with attribution to Equilibrium Labs and, where one exists, to the specific release.
Why these two
MIT is the least restrictive common open-source licence — it puts no conditions on downstream use beyond attribution. CC BY 4.0 is its closest equivalent for non-code work: maximum reuse, minimum friction, attribution the only ask.
The repository is public, but doesn't yet contain a LICENSE file or the tool source itself — just documentation so far. Once real code ships there, this page should link directly to the repo's LICENSE file rather than only stating the terms here.
This website
The site’s own design, wordmark, and written copy are not covered by the above — they remain the property of Equilibrium Labs unless a specific page says otherwise.
