This is a general-purpose starting point, not legal advice — Alfred should have this reviewed by a lawyer before Equilibrium Labs takes any paying clients.

These terms govern your use of equilibriumlabs.ai and the open-source tools documented here (the generators, claimcheck, and the MCP server). By using the site or the tools, you agree to them.

Using the site

The site is provided for you to read, learn from, and link to. Don’t attempt to disrupt it (scraping at a rate that degrades service, attempting to bypass access controls, or similar abuse). Content on the site is provided as-is, for informational purposes — see Licences for what you may do with the underlying code, data, and papers themselves.

Open-source licensing

The tools are open source: code under the MIT licence, data and papers under CC BY 4.0. That licensing governs your use of the actual code and data — these Terms don’t add extra restrictions on top of it. See Licences for the full detail.

No warranty

The site, the tools, and anything they output (including synthetic data and claim-validation results) are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing here is professional, financial, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Equilibrium Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the site or the tools — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Paid services

Anything described on Pricing — hosted infrastructure, custom data work, validation as a service, or consulting — is governed by a separate agreement entered into directly with you, not by these Terms. These Terms cover the website and the open-source tools only.

Governing law

Equilibrium Labs (personligt ejet mindre virksomhed), operated by Alfred Birkelund, CVR 43012371, Hans Mules Gade 12, Odense C, Denmark. These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

We’ll update this page if these terms change, and update the date below when we do.
