Privacy
Privacy
This is a general-purpose starting point, not legal advice — Alfred should review it (and confirm the flagged items below) before relying on it.
This page describes what happens with your data when you visit equilibriumlabs.ai or use the tools documented here. Equilibrium Labs is based in Denmark, in the EU, so this is written to GDPR’s requirements — what’s collected, why, and what rights you have over it.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use cookies, and does not run any analytics. Nothing is set in your browser to track you, and no visit data is collected or sent anywhere — which is also why there’s no cookie banner here: there’s nothing to consent to. Placeholder — confirm: if an analytics tool (e.g. a privacy-respecting, cookie-free service) is ever added, this section must be rewritten first — name the tool, what it measures, and how to opt out — before it ships.
What this site collects
This is a static website. It does not run accounts, logins, or a database of visitor information. Beyond the above:
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts’ CDN (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font from Google’s servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which can see your IP address and browser details for that request, under Google’s own privacy policy.
- If you use the docs search box, the search runs entirely in your browser against a static index — no query is sent to a server.
Data you give us directly
If you email us, message us, or otherwise contact Equilibrium Labs directly, we hold onto that correspondence only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record, and we don’t share it with third parties except where the law requires it.
Lawful basis. The only personal data this site processes is what you send us yourself — by emailing or messaging us. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, and your own consent in choosing to contact us. We don’t collect anything else, so no other basis is needed.
Your rights
Under GDPR, for the correspondence data described above, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you (access),
- correct it if it’s wrong (rectification),
- delete it (erasure), or
- stop using it (restriction / objection).
Contact us via the Contact page to exercise any of these. If you believe we’ve mishandled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with Denmark’s data protection authority, Datatilsynet.
Your California privacy rights
If you’re a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, with anyone, for any purpose. As above, the only personal information this site processes at all is what you send us directly by contacting us — to exercise any of these rights over that correspondence, reach out via the Contact page. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
